Lego Flow Studio

Design Philosophy​

This product focuses on extending the lifecycle of regular LEGO sets.

It empowers teenagers to create their own LEGO films through stop-motion videos—elevating play beyond traditional building.

  • Young Kids (4–9): High engagement and purchase activity.

  • Pre-teens (7–12): Peak interest in building and creativity.

  • Teens (13–17): Less frequent play, but continued interest in building.

Children's engagement with LEGO often declines around ages 9–12

The volumetric study analyzes the internal components of the product, demonstrating a clear understanding of engineering principles.

A volumetric study examines how internal components are spatially arranged within a product’s outer shell. It ensures efficient use of space, proper alignment, and structural support for parts such as circuit boards, sensors, batteries, and connectors. 

This process is critical for maintaining compact form factors, simplifying assembly, and ensuring manufacturability. It also accounts for airflow, cable routing, and material thicknesses to support performance and durability.

The kit enhances play value by introducing a fresh system that goes beyond Lego’s classic offerings,

integrating a new dimension into its product lineup.

Designed to spark creativity, the Stop Motion Kit leverages existing Lego bricks to boost storytelling within themed sets, encouraging teens to spend more time with their peers for creative activity.
